A distinctive set of three Tonga baskets, handwoven by Tonga (Bathonga) artisans in Zimbabwe and Southern Zambia. Worked from Ilala palm leaf – coiled from a woven square into an almost perfect circle – each basket is coloured using natural tree-bark dyes and carries the fine ‘snake’s belly’ edging for which the weavers are known.

Traditionally used for winnowing grain, these sustainably made baskets now bring beautiful natural texture to the home as decorative wall art. Group the three together to create a striking, textural wall display, or use them individually as decorative accents around the home.
