Main Description
Enter the mysterious world of Arthur Machen with Between Two Worlds, an extensive collection of supernatural stories exploring ancient beliefs, hidden realities and the darker corners of human imagination.
From the disturbing revelations of The Great God Pan to the strange encounters of The White People and the unexplained violence of The Terror, Machen's fiction reveals a world in which ordinary life conceals something far older and more mysterious. His stories move between the Welsh countryside, shadowy London streets and unsettling landscapes where the familiar becomes extraordinary.
Bringing together much of Machen's short horror fiction, this Wordsworth Mystery & Supernatural edition offers a fascinating introduction to one of the most influential writers of weird literature, whose imaginative tales helped inspire later authors including H. P. Lovecraft.
